VE Day
7 May, 1945 VE Day. Victory in Europe. A day to remember forever.

The 808 tank destroyer battalion was in Linz (Passau) Austria. There had been heavy fighting the day before.

With VE Day came clean water, reconstruction, an end to war in Europe!

808 TD returns equipment sometime after VE Day
Sometime after VE Day the 808 TD was able to organize their equipment and go home!
