Our hosts this year, Buck n Jacque, ran an ad in the local newspaper
during the early stages of planning the WWII 808 tank destroyer
battalion reunion. They had many responses from local folk who wanted to
help make the reunion a great success. Community spirit made this
reunion a big success, we wish to thank all of them who helped.
- The Elks held a dinner.
- The police academy opened the doors for us to have a pig roast which was organized by Bucks' children.
- The owner of the dry cleaners paid for all 808ers and spouses banquet dinners and chartered the orchard site seeing bus.
Thanks to everyone who helped make the 808 reunion a huge success this year.
