This monument to the TDs has 4 distinct remembrances. Plaque 1, the front, lists each of the TD Battalions. Plaque 2 lists those individuals who received the Medal of Honor. Plaque 3, the back, memorializes the years and purpose of the Tank Destroyers. 1941 - 1946. Plaque 4, "To honor and commemorate the valiant men who gave their lives and the many who suffered wounds and severe hardships in victorious battle against the enemy in WWII 1941-1945"
